KASINO follows
in the graffiti traditions of his mentors SEEN, BLADE and SENTO. That
is the refinement of the name in a number of styles including Blockbusters,
Chromies, Semi - Wildstyles and general bombing. In other words style
technicians relentlessly inventing new styles of lettering whilst retaining
name recognition.
TRAINS -
Kasino has enjoyed paining trains all over the world. He was the first
Australian to paint a running panel in New York and he has painted
over a dozen running MTA cars. These include successful missions with
KET in the F tunnels, solo in Grant Ave, POEM up on the J- Line and
SEEN in Westchester Yards in the Bronx. He has also bombed running
trains in Wellington, Auckland, Berlin, Dortmund, Munich, Oslo, Amsterdam,
Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Here are a couple he wont get busted
for.
CHROME
- should be applied not sniffed!!! Chrome pieces are a staple
diet for any writer and KASINO is no different. Here are a couple
of different approaches to the chrome piece.
BOMBING -
KASINO has always loved bombing, unfortunately when missed with alcohol,
negative results can occur. Here are a few examples of his destructive
tendencies at work. Reclaim your space. What does a blank wall say
about our facist society!!!
BURNERS -
Here are five recent walls by KASINO and his friends.
BLOCKIES
- Kasino loves doing
blockies. He is inspired by oldschool alltime NYC King BLADE TC5
as well as SEEN UA and SENTO who work within this restrictive lettering
format but come up with great letter styles. Click the images to
check out 5 different styles of blockies KASINO has done over the
years. His first solo wholecar was painted at St James underground
yard in Sydney back in 1988 and itwas a chrome blockie. SENTO helped
inspire the HOLLOW BLOCKIE style that KASINO is know around the
world for.
